What's in a Diagnosis?

Many of the clients I work with are looking for a diagnosis for their beloved, or working through one. So, I want to talk about the power in a diagnosis, or the power we can sometimes lose because of one.

Our thoughts emit measurable frequencies. It is scientifically proven that if you create an elevated emotion paired with a visualization, you start to draw that energetic match to you (the law of attraction). The stronger the emotion, the stronger the pull.

So let’s say you get a diagnosis, or are working through one:

You see the visual: CT scan, radiograph, ultrasound, etc

You feel the feelings: Shock, fear, sadness, anger, disbelief, worry, denial, etc

Your beloved doesn’t hear the words the veterinarian is telling you, they just know how they are feeling, and how you are feeling. We know many of our animals have a stressful time at the veterinarian, or in the car, and many tell me it is directly related to the images and emotions they are feeling from their people…

So, consider your animal who is going about their day, just living life, and all of a sudden they go to a place which elicits these visuals and emotions around them.

Then you go home, and they feel building energy around a variety of these images as you Google them, research treatments, debate what to do, and feel all those feelings that come up around it. Remember when you hear our animals mirror us - think of what’s happening when you are researching something like heart disease, you might be researching it for them, but the energy that is gaining momentum is disease of the heart, period.

This is where I really want you to hear me.

There is a LOT of energetic power in a diagnosis. Some are very comforted by it and are able to see a clear path forward and see wellness in their animal, and help them heal as a result of it (or they are able to lovingly help them make their transition to the nonphysical). Some become overtaken by fear of loss, and worry, and they spend all their time and energy giving their power away to the worst case scenario.

You don’t have to stop researching what is best for your animal’s condition, but you CAN change the emotion paired with the visual so that you start believing in healing rather than being overcome by the disease.

Feel into this:

Your beloved was diagnosed with heart disease. You see it on the radiographs, you don’t quite understand exactly what it means or how bad it is, but you get a fair prognosis, some meds, and you go home fearing for the future for your love, and wondering if you are making the right choice for them. All normal things to go through, but be mindful of how long you stay there.

Our animals encourage us to empower them with our emotions and thoughts and to create the environment for them to heal. We cannot hold the vibration of love and wellness, and pity and illness simultaneously. We choose. You can choose, every day.

Imagine your beloved was diagnosed with heart disease. You see it on the radiographs, you don’t quite understand exactly what it means or how bad it is, but you get a fair prognosis, some meds, and you go home, and you tell your little love that everything is going to be ok. Instead of researching the disease, you research how the heart works, what makes it healthy, what type of music resonates with it, what type of supplements or treatments bring the heart into harmony. You close your eyes and imagine going back to the veterinarian, seeing the images and the mass/inflammation/fluid is GONE, you can’t believe it, gone! You feel so much love, and gratitude, and amazement at the body’s ability to heal.

Even animals in end stage diseases deserve an environment they can heal in. Healing is not linear, it is never finished, and healing resonates with the frequency of love. Even if the prognosis is poor,

It’s not false hope or unrealistic, to believe in your animal’s ability to heal, it’s giving them the best chance possible and feeling unconditional love regardless of the condition their body is in.

And remember, their death is always their own, regardless of how much we believe we have a hand in it, so if all roads lead us home, and your road travels there faster than you imagined, maybe you'd love to remember how you loved them unconditionally until the end.

They are NOT their disease.
